Annual Concert Dinner and Annual General Meeting 2013
Hi, our annual concert dinner and annual general meeting are coming now. The details are as below:
Date : 25 April 2013 (Thursday)
Time : 6.30pm-10.00pm
Venue : Dewan Banquet, Kafe Staf
The purpose of this dinner is to appreciate all committees involved in Litlegras Annual Live Concert 2013. Without your help, the concert would not be a success. I want to sincerely thank all departments head and their members: MC, CAD, AEP, Fund Raising, VAS, PER, IEC, AE for organizing and completing their tasks with passion. Congratulations also to musicians for practice over and over again in music room. Thank you to all bassists, drummers, keyboardists, vocalists, guitarists. I would also like to thank all composers for contributing their lyrics and melodies. Last but not least, big thank you to management team for your great support and work during concert meeting.
AGM will be held to select new batch of committee so that they can continue Litlegras spirit. Litlegras would like to welcome all committees that contributed in Annual Concert 2013 to our dinner and AGM.

2nd Semester 2nd Composing Group Sharing
Actually I did 1st sharing session on 3rd April before mid semester break but the response is really bad. I hope more people will come for 2nd session. We will try to brainstorm melodies for lyric by Alex Su. So do think of a few melodies for the lyrics.

To infinity and beyond
Hi, first of all wishing everyone a great mid sem break
ahead. Whether there are tests coming up after the break, it doesn’t matter to
us. What matters now is this is the opportunity for all of us to unwind, catch up with
friends and of course to compensate for all the food we have missed for months.
Last but no least, i too like to thank all the seniors who came to watch the concert. Their endless support towards the club is just inspiring. Credits to seniors like Clifford, Sean, Jing Yao and Jun Yan for their contribution to the songs. Special thanks to Zi Xun, for his songs and hours spent on the music room leading us during the practice. And of course to Shen Ji, a loyal member of fund raising despite being the final year student.
In a blink of an eye, it has been more than a week since we had our 13th
annual live concert at Dewan Utama, USM engineering campus. This year's theme is Infinity, carries the meaning of music never discriminates and never dies. Life is starting to
get dull and empty without the daily routine of jamming and practising in the
music room. Allow me to give a brief recap of what have we all done prior to
the concert. Practice started quite late, as Chinese New Year celebration was
in the way, so was the CNY night organized by the first year students. Musicians
and composers worked hand-in-hand to complete their songs from late evening to
midnight and sometimes to the 2am. During this period of time, we made new
friends, upgraded ourselves and learn new things. This year we have quite a number of talented
first year’s musicians. All 16 songs were composed by students of USM. Never
have I thought of writing a song and even performing it on the stage. This gives
me an opportunity and a head start to start writing songs.
Never the less, I would
like to take this opportunity to thank all musicians, composers and lyricists for their hard work to make this concert happen. In addition, a huge appreciation to the Fund Raising team, for
beating last year’s fund record; CAD team, awesome work there especially the design
of booklet and the backdrop; VAS team, beautiful animation and lyric pointer; MC team, having
more variations to their performances which include synchronized dancing; PER
team, catching every great moments of the concert on cameras; IEC team,
completing the preparation for the concert; AEP team for publicity in the
campus and on Facebook and finally AE team for providing technical support
which is the most crucial job for the concert.

I think everyone deserves a pat on their shoulders for the job done. Feedbacks on the concert were mostly positive. None of this would have happened without the time and effort sacrificed from everyone. I am already looking forward to the 14th annual live concert.
